My name is Wanda. I’m a Certified Birth Doula and a Registered Nurse with a background in High Risk Obstetrics, Infertility and Women’s Health. I hold an Bachelor Degree in Nursing and I became a certified Birth Doula in 2023.  I am a wife and a entrepreneur.  While experiencing my own struggles with infertility, I have come to find that the experience of pregnancy and childbirth have always been important to me. As a nurse and community advocate,  I have been disheartened by the maternal- fetal mortality and morbidity rates among minority women in the U.S.  I want to combat these increasing rates by helping women achieve their utmost and most desirable birth experiences by provider birth planning,  childbirth education, labor and postpartum support. Whether you are planning for a natural labor at home or a more medically assisted birth in a hospital, I am will be there to assist in the birth experience you deserve!

In my spare time I like to read (especially biographies and black romance novels), drink lots of coffee, and make charcuterie boards. I’m a lover of all things Wonder Woman and Earth, Wind, & Fire!
